Brigador Killers Mission Prep Checklist
A repeatable pre-deploy ritual for demo sorties and Early Access contracts.
This mission prep checklist exists because Brigador Killers will punish the sortie you start on vibes alone. Death can remove the gear you brought, isometric fights punish bad routes, and the Garage only saves players who use it before the bay doors open. Print this page mentally, run it in order, and only then deploy. Pair it with the loadout planner, missions overview, and Garage guide. Return to the Tools Hub for related planners.
1) Briefing comprehension
- Read the primary objective verb twice.
- Note implied enemy pressure: infantry, armor, mixed.
- Mark whether interiors, avenues, or mixed terrain seem likely.
- Decide if a vehicle is justified or just tempting.
- Set a personal success definition: full clear, partial objective, or intel-only extract.
If the briefing language is unclear, skim lore and factions for pressure vocabulary, then keep packing conservative.
2) Risk mass budget
- List every unique item you are about to bring.
- Assign each a rebuild difficulty: easy, medium, painful.
- Cap “painful” items at a number you can emotionally and economically accept losing.
- Confirm a B-tier backup kit exists in THE GARAGE for the immediate retry.
- If no backup exists, build one before deploying premium gear.
This step is the heart of Early Access survival after August 20, 2026.
3) Weapons and ammo
- Primary selected for the main verb — cross-check weapons tier list.
- Secondary covers the gap your primary leaves.
- Specialty ammo counted for confirmed needs only.
- Magazines restocked in Armory before you romanticize Merchant last-second buys.
- Sidearm or contingency tool packed if dismount fights are likely.
4) Combat rig and plates
- Shell matches mission length and mobility needs — see combat rigs.
- Plates repaired or replaced; cracked pride is not armor.
- Pouches hold mission tools without hiding isometric silhouette excessively.
- Attachments stripped of vanity pieces you will not use.
- Weight feels runnable for your extract plan.
5) Vehicle decision gate
Ask all five before mounting anything:
- Does travel distance truly require it?
- Can I replace the hull after a wipe?
- Are mounted guns cheaper than my dismount uniques?
- Do I have a plan if the vehicle dies mid-map?
- Have I practiced dismount timings this week?
If any answer is weak, walk. Rank options on the vehicles tier list.
6) Extract and failure routes
- Primary extract direction chosen.
- Secondary extract direction chosen.
- One panic disengage landmark picked (yard, alley, underpass).
- Rule set for aborting the objective when ammo or plates collapse.
- Agreement with yourself: aborting with kit beats dying with kit.
7) Garage systems sweep
- Scrapper queues cleared of junk you already decided to break down.
- Fabricator not mid-craft on something you need this sortie.
- Armory staples topped off.
- Merchant checked for emergency plates or magazines.
- Notes updated in your loadout planner sheet.
New players should also keep Getting Started open in a second tab during their first dozen runs.
8) Demo-specific addendum
For OBSTACLE 1 and THE GARAGE sessions:
- Treat the map as a classroom, not a prestige board.
- Prefer B-tier risk mass until extracts feel boring.
- Log one lesson per run on camera, ammo, or routing.
- Compare demo limits with demo versus Early Access.
- Watch trailer framing on demo review only after you have hands-on notes.
9) Post-mission debrief prompts
Immediately after extract or wipe:
- Which checklist line would have saved you?
- Did Merchant panic buying happen anyway?
- Did a tier-list darling underperform in this briefing type?
- What scrap income actually arrived?
- What changes for the next deploy?
Bring persistent balance shifts back to patch notes and the Tier List Hub.

Why this page is long on purpose
Short checklists get skipped. This one explains why each gate exists so you internalize it. When Early Access expands mission types, add lines—do not delete the risk mass budget. That budget is the difference between a learning wipe and a Garage depression spiral.
Official storefronts and developer channels remain on official links. System constraints that cause stutters mid-fight are covered on system requirements. Release timing lives on release date.
Run the list. Then run the mission. Then run the list again.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Do I need to complete every line every sortie?
Yes for premium kits. You can run a shorter subset for pure B-tier training runs, but never skip risk mass and ammo counts.
Where should I store checklist results?
Use the loadout planner notes or any local doc. The important part is writing abort rules before you deploy.
Can this checklist replace tier lists?
No. Tier lists suggest candidates; this checklist verifies you packed them sanely for the briefing.
Is the checklist valid for the demo only?
It is written for both OBSTACLE 1 practice and Early Access. Update item names as the arsenal expands.
What if I keep failing after using it?
Drop to B-tier kits, revisit Getting Started fundamentals, and study missions overview for objective patterns.
